Job Description
1. Prepare and update inventory of natural reservoirs (rivers, lagoons, lakes and reservoirs) and aquatic organisms including fish.
2. Feasibility study/survey in natural reservoirs (sluices, lakes and reservoirs, reservoirs and inter-provincial river systems) to determine and implement appropriate fisheries and fisheries programs.
3. To study the social/economic aspects of communities dependent on fish and aquatic life products obtained from natural reservoirs and to determine and implement appropriate programs.
4. Conduct conservation programs to maintain aquatic biological diversity in natural reservoirs.
5. To develop and promote the species/species of fish and potentially other aquatic organisms suitable for natural reservoirs.
6. To work related to the protection and promotion of local fish and other aquatic organisms.
7. To do coordination work between concerned agencies and associations related to natural reservoirs, aquatic life and communities dependent on them.
8. Conduct laboratory services related to fish diseases, fish feed and water quality.
9. Production, distribution and technical services related to fisheries.
