Introduction

NWFPCC was established in 2024 B.S. (1968 A.D.) as Commercial Fisheries Center for supplying table fish to Kathmandu valley and the local market of Hetauda. After the raise of awareness level in farmer with the merits of fish farming, the challenges of seed production was increased and to fulfil the demand of seed and to produce the quality seed of fish, then again it was named as Fisheries Development Center in 2049 B.S. (1992). Again after the political changes in the country in 2065 B.S.
